Seasons Greetings and the Happiest of Holidays

 

To all current and former member of our “Sacred Circle” of women…I first of all want to thank you for your enthusiasm and participation in Fit for a Goddess! You made our first year in business very exciting and highly successful! Much Mahalos!!!

To women who are visiting our web site and considering this fitness venue for the first time…we welcome you with open arms and hearts! We think you will find a wonderfully liberating outlet in a very nurturing environment while maximizing your full feminine po(le)tential!

Goddesses, past and present, should have received an invitation to our one-year anniversary celebration through your e-mail (if we have it on file). It will be a great opportunity to meet other Goddesses from other classes and see our stunning new studio space, Get Fit Hawaii, in Pearl City (more info. below).

OTHER GODDESS GOODIES

  • Get Fit Hawaii has invited us to add Fit for a Goddess classes to their line-up of offerings. They share their beautiful studio with Centerstage and now us! You may want to visit their web site: www.GetFitHawaii.TV or tune-in to their TV program on K5, Monday-Friday at 6:00am, it’s a great program! We will have 4 new classes starting there in January and February (2 Subtly Sensual classes and 2 Level I classes) with more to be added soon. Visit the Fit4aGoddessHI.com’s “Sign Up Now” page for these and other schedule details. Get Fit Hawaii’s very own Michael Hofmann, is also working with me in developing Manly Moves for Men, which will allow men a workout opportunity that incorporates the pole! We are very excited!!!
  • New Pictures up on the web. If you haven’t perused our web site recently, in addition to the info. above, you will find a few new pictures posted on the “About Us” page. There are many more to follow (thanks to Charity!), showing all our teachers and their beautiful moves.
  • Class Helpers needed.With our rapid growth, we need to spread out our current certified instructors in order to cover all the classes. If you are interested in helping as a “pole monitor,” which doesn’t require any teaching of moves, please let one of us know ASAP. The only prerequisite is having completed a Level 1 class of your own. This is basically a “work/study” type program, which entitles you to take the class for free while helping us keep everyone safe. These hours could also apply towards becoming an apprentice teacher. However, the desire to become a teacher is not required in order to participate in this way. 
  • Apprentice Program is underway. However, we are looking for more “Goddess Graduates” who want to advance towards teaching with us. As mentioned above, this process starts with helping during one or more Level 1 class series. If there is a good “fit,” we will discuss the possibility of advancing. There will also be more formal teacher trainings involved and a period of co-teaching before becoming a lead teacher. Ultimately all apprentices will need to go through the Fit for a Goddess certification process. 
  • Teacher Certification is your final stop before becoming a lead teacher for any of the Fit for a Goddess classes. You will learn more about this as you proceed through the previous steps. You would be encouraged to ask questions any where along the way. I trust that you know from your own experience with us, what a nurturing and supportive group of women have been drawn to this “calling.” Should you decide to make teaching with us a part of your busy life, you can count on the Fit for a Goddess team supporting your individual needs and schedule. 

Available Products

  • Purchasing Poles are available through me at a discount. I keep forgetting to mention this during classes so wanted to make sure that everyone knows. The ProPoles (in a case) are $440, the 8’ portable poles are $340, and the 9’ poles are $350. For more details, please ask during class, call, or e-mail.
  • Fit for a Goddess T-Shirts are something else that I always carry with me and forget to mention. Tanks and Camies are $18 and the Camies w/ bra are $22. Until we have our own “home” the portable “boutique” will have to do.
  • Fit for a Goddess Gift Certificates are available upon request. They can be purchased for an Intro. Class ($15), Series ($140), or private session ($50/hr).
  • Fit for a Goddess DVD will soon be released!
